Have you ever set a goal or desired something specific, only to find that it felt too far out of reach? Recently, I stopped focusing on specific people, places, or things. Instead, I’ve been passively calling in vibrations and asking myself, How do I want to feel? It’s simple, but this shift in approach has made all the difference.

Let me give you an example. I recently went to a birthday party for one of my friends. That night, I set an intention: I wanted to feel like I was back in Los Angeles. LA has always been a vibe for me—exciting, adventurous, filled with unique encounters. So, I leaned into that feeling. I asked myself, If I were in LA, how would I look? How would I feel?
Let me tell you—it happened.
Not only did I meet a reality TV star from one of my favorite shows, but the vibes were also perfect. She was so sweet and shared stories from her days as a model, actress, and video vixen. I saw another star at another spot too.
Everyone at the dinner party was interesting, had lived in LA at some point, and looked amazing. The energy was giving full Hollywood vibes. One of the ladies even had her boyfriend, who plays for the Mavs, come by with some bottles. It was so LA. Side note: I’ve been wanting to go to more games, and I got personally invited to more (and that’s on passive manifestation). 🙂
It was a high-caliber night, with random people coming up to our table to tell us how beautiful we were. I also ran into a few other people I knew. The music was fantastic, the vibes were great, and I looked GOOD. It was incredible, interactive, and just so much fun. Even waiting for valet was an event, with people coming up in amazing fashions and big personalities.

It’s easy to get caught up in the how and the what—how am I going to achieve this, what do I need to make it happen? But instead, I’m here to tell you that focusing on how you want to feel is far more powerful. It allows you to attract experiences that match your energy without having to control every detail.
Think of it like a frequency you’re tuning into. If you want to feel joyful, imagine the energy that brings you joy. It could be the warmth of a cozy dinner party, the thrill of a new city, or the peace of a spa day. A Social Gym and Familiar Faces
Another example: I set the intention to go to a social gym again, a place where I could connect and feel energized by familiar faces. The one I liked the most closed. I mentioned in my last entry how I serendipitously found the owner at another facility, and now I’m attending classes there.
I attended another class recently, and guess what happened? I met a girl I’d known online for years but had never met in person. We hugged and gushed about finally meeting. After class, a few other people I’d only met once or twice before greeted me and mentioned they hadn’t seen me in forever—guess that’s what happens when you make yourself scarce, lol. It was so nice to see familiar faces and catch up.
It wasn’t the exact gym, but there were so many of the same people. Different setting, same vibe I had come to enjoy that motivated me to stay consistent with my fitness. This is what I mean about ignoring the specifics and letting the universe guide you to that feeling.
