ALEXANDRIA'S ALCHEMY

Why Faith Outshines Divination in Spiritual Growth

As a spiritualist, I think we can get so lost in divination, anxiously attached to peeking into the future. However, every psychic knows it’s often much easier to see for others while our own insights remain blocked. Why? Because of divine amnesia.

We are not meant to know everything that comes next in our cosmic story. For those who are obsessively compulsive or anxiously attached, we find ways to control the future through divination—tarot, readings, prayer, meditation, and so on. But we forget, once again, that the future carries a level of secrecy. Just as our thoughts, intentions, and actions are not easily uncovered by others, the same is true of our future. Many readers, I’m sure, have clients who are not grounded or faithful in their lives. They need someone to spell everything out for them. Yet, if they don’t get the answer they want, they seek it elsewhere. This is often an attempt to either stay rooted in the past, control what’s next, or escape altogether.

I am beginning to understand why certain biblical teachings caution against divination. In many ways, it can signal a loss of faith—a lack of trust in your own internal guidance. And that’s a significant truth. One of the biggest signs of divinity is having faith and a strong connection to your intuition.

Now, don’t get me wrong. I enjoy tarot, readings, meditation, and asking for guidance. But I have also abused these methods in the past. Spot on or not, we have to let life unfold. It’s okay for the next chapter to remain unknown. Every now and then, divination can serve as a helpful tool. Yet, I’ve found that being claircognizant and experiencing prophetic dreams is more than enough. I am not all-knowing, nor do I desire to be. Insights come sporadically, and always at the right time. Each moment astonishes me and strengthens my faith in my own intuition. No one outside of me can provide the synchronicities and reassurance I seek.

This week, I received the message: Starve the 3D. Essentially, this means that any 3D reassurance will come without my seeking or pining for answers. Hypervigilance has no place here. I fully trust that anything I am meant to know or see will appear without my effort. This perspective has brought me so much peace because it keeps me present. The future will come to pass, and in hindsight, all the answers will reveal themselves.

Ase.

What is Peace?

Peace is the act of surrendering to the present moment, trusting that what’s meant for you will unfold in divine timing. Hypervigilance, divination, and anxious attachment can trap us in cycles of obsessively seeking answers, lowering our vibration and muddying our aura. These habits pull us away from alignment, keeping us anchored in the past or anxiously anticipating a future we cannot control.

True peace comes when we release the need to know every step ahead, allowing faith to guide us. Our highest timeline can never be accessed through worry or obsession. It’s through trust, stillness, and presence that we align with the energy needed to manifest the life we truly desire.

THE GREAT RESET

I often speak about zero-point energy as it relates to the centeredness of your personal universe. It also extends to a state of neutrality—a place where you’re neither overly positive nor negative. You are simply centered. In that centeredness, you find peace because you are no longer seeking more or resenting the lack of something.

Peace is being emotionally okay. Peace is feeling well in your body. Peace is contentment with your spirituality. While we all seek peace, it’s not something to be pursued. Peace cannot be found—it can only be.

Divination, and the many practitioners who offer it, often mean well in their efforts to bring peace to others. However, peace cannot come through seeking. A person who seeks answers is not at peace. I know I’m repeating myself, but the truth bears repeating.

Personally, I am learning to embody peace.

After closing my business, I felt the urge to hurry and “do this” or “do that” just to feel productive. I couldn’t rest. I couldn’t just be. I was not at peace. My inner voice reminded me of the times I worked three jobs to make ends meet, the lessons I learned through my business, the phases in my marriage when I wasn’t at peace, and the discomfort of pregnancy. I reflected on all of it and allowed myself to arrive at a clear state of understanding.

I acknowledged that I am in a period of reset. I no longer need to be in survival mode, worry about putting out fires in my business, resent past actions, or endure physical discomfort. My body feels fine. Everything is taken care of. There is no one rushing me or demanding anything of me. I can be at peace. I cannot seek it; I can only be it.

Ase.

My life has been reset. I can revisit my own insights, trust my own guidance, and create as I feel called to. It’s incredible.

Now, I can be present—not in pursuit, not in search. Simply present.
