Expressed Passion + Siren Energy + Love

I absolutely love this song. The other day, while driving home, it came up on my Artsy playlist, where I have an array of jazz, funk, and soul from the ’80s and earlier. I was singing along with Cece in the car, and she paused her iPad to listen to me sing. I’m sure she was thinking, What the heck, Mom? Singing like you’re on American Idol, lol. This song is so passionate, beautiful, and delicate…I can’t help but get all the way into it.

As I was singing, I was thinking about how I could never find the instrumental. Fast forward to today, and somebody finally uploaded it. They actually uploaded a few songs I’ve been waiting on for years by Melba Moore and Teedra Moses—shoutout to her!

Anyway, I found the instrumental today and had to do a cover. There’s no better way to channel and express passion than singing. I’ll be sharing more of anything I’m creating on here, in addition to the other topics.
